I’ve always wanted to find an opportunity in which I could combine travel and professional development for a few months. My teaching experience was limited to some university mentorship programs and language teaching at non-profit organizations; however, I was eager to expand my professional teaching horizon and explore global education. It had always been my dream to see Mexico because I’m fascinated by Latin culture. When I found out about the GLS project in Mexico, I didn’t think twice about applying to it, as it was the perfect opportunity to be a teacher-traveler! Teaching is great, traveling is great, and I believe we should all do more of both! :)
